5 Tips To Stay Cool This Summer

At Eva Khurshid, we know how hard it is to dress weather appropriate while leaving some things to the imagination. The heat can be unbearable and humidity can make you feel like a melting popsicle. While designing the spring/summer collection, we thought about what we were missing in our wardrobes that kept us cool and looking cool in the summer. Here are 5 tips from the designers on how to stay cool without baring it all this summer:

  1. Knits are the most comfy things to wear all year round, but try wearing a linen or cotton blend instead— like the Madeleine dress (a linen jersey dress).
  2. One thing you don’t want to wear is clothing that is going to stick, literally. Try wearing loose tunics like the Norah blouse and you can pair them with leggings for a funkier look without baring it all.
  3. Looking for a staple cotton pant that you can wear literally all the time? The Magdalena pant (in Noir- cotton sateen) is a favorite among our customers, a cigarette pant that is the perfect weight for those hot summer days!
  4. Two Words: Maxi Dress. The Samantha dress with its woven silk detailing on the bodice gives maxi dresses a fresh take along with the fact that it has sleeves!
  5. Silk pants are the “it” pant this summer, and while they are a hot trend, they won’t make you feel like you’re burnin’ up. The Zoe pant is a silk charmeuse pant; it feels so luxurious on your skin because the satin is on the inside. You can dress it up for a night on the town, or dress it down for a casual day out in the city.
