EK Goes to Capitol Hill

Earlier last month we received an email from the State Department, it was an invitation to the Annual Iftaar hosted by the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to commemorate the breaking of the day’s fast. The Iftaar was set to be on September 7, 2010 towards the end of the holy month of Ramadan. During Ramadan, Muslims around the world fast from sunrise to sunset and abstain from food, water, worldly indulgences, as well as giving back to their communities.
