The Real Women of Eva Khurshid: Schjanna

Our next Real Woman of Eva Khurshid, Schjanna is a street-chic Brooklynite who lives and breaths fashion just as much as the designers of EK. Schjanna owns and designs The Hilbert Project, an easy knits driven collection also made in NYC. With that sensibility in mind, she requires pieces in her wardrobe that she can dress up and down with ease. This statuesque platinum beauty needs items in her wardrobe that create soft feminine shapes without making her body appear too long. With this slender tall figure, she can play more with proportions as done below.

Name: Schjanna

Occupation: Fashion Designer

Describe your style in 3 words: Modern, minimal, comfortable.

How would you describe your lifestyle? On- the-go. Fully enjoying work and play. Days can be a mix of meetings in the showroom, walking the floor of a factory and a late night out of dancing with a little gardening thrown in between.

What is a staple in your wardrobe? Slouchy knit tops and chunky jewelry.

What are some challenges you face when dressing for the summer? Finding stylish clothing that is comfortable for the weather and appropriate for work. I am an adult business owner, so I don’t wear hot shorts and I need to wear a bra that’s not showing out of my top.

How does EK work for your lifestyle? Beautifully cut pieces in gorgeous fabrics that mix into to my wardrobe and can be dresses up or down.

What do you like about Eva Khurshid’s style? I love how modern, tasteful and unique the collection is. They have really special pieces that will last for more than one season.

What are your favorite pieces from the collection and why? I love my two pairs of pants!!! [Magdalena PantZoe Pant] Comfortable with a fantastic fit and I get so many compliments.

Schjanna is wearing: Marina Zoe Pant (Eva Khurshid), White Tee shirt (Hilbert Project)
